Fusion Stir-Fried Chicken
Ingredients for marinade:
500 grams boneless chicken
half tsp ginger paste
half tsp garlic paste
100 grams hung curd
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp vinegar
Ingredients for gravy:
2 big onions finely chopped
3 tbs white oil
half tsp ginger paste
half tsp garlic paste
3 tsp oyster sauce
3 tsp tomato sauce
2 tsp chilli sauce
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 cup milk
salt to taste
For garnishing:
1tbs cream
coriander leaves-2 pinch
Method:
Mix all the ingredients for the marinade.
Add chicken pieces and refrigerate for an hour.
Add oil in the pan and put the marinated chicken and stir fry it till it turns light brown in colour.
After it is done set aside the chicken in a bowl.Now add chopped onions and stir-fry it.
Then add ginger garlic paste and put the chicken back in the pan.
Now add red chilli powder,oyster sauce ,tomato sauce & chilli sauce one by one.
Now add salt to taste and stir it until all the ingredients are mixed well.
Add milk,cover and cook it in low flame,stirring in between so that it doesn't stick to the bottom.
Lastly for garnishing,add finely chopped coriander leaves and fresh cream on the top.

- can one substitute hung curd with a more readily available alternative?
- Rice wise - steamed or fried?
-It's always better to use hung curd to make the chicken tender,in case it's not available you can use lemon juice.
